In Fall 2010, we worked with software developer, Clint Bellanger on the VIT project for the Auburn University Admissions department, located on the campus of Auburn University in Auburn, AL. This website focused on Very Impressive Tigers (VIT) — potential freshmen who scored high on standardized tests (e.g. 34+ ACT). The website delivers an experience customized for that particular student, connecting them to their particular college, major, and interests.
The Office of Enrollment Services at Auburn University was implementing a new program for its most highly qualified prospective students. Our desire was to provide each student with a customized web experience specific to their own interests, both academically and socially. Evenpar Solutions was a critical partner in this endeavor. Their development team worked diligently to design both the look and functionality of this customized website. They were extremely flexible with project needs and changes while effectively utilizing the short time-frame in which the project had to be completed. This site was designed to provide ease of use, both to website administrators and prospective students. We have received extensive positive feedback from students and parents alike recognizing the uniqueness of the website and the personalized experience Auburn is providing to students within the program.– Melanie Chambless
